Gus,

I second the motion, it is another great post from you and I am in total agreement. For Tom and Yogi I would say it was a bit too early to divest Seagate though I was recently troubled by it also.

There is clearly a common effort amongst the DD makers to swim upstream. As the move to those added value markets I suspect we will see some price/margin dilution so the cautionary statement that I would add is that cost is still king. But Wall Street likes growth and recent forecasts suggests that there is growth aplenty in the offing. I am on the run in Asia and have just caught up with the posts for the last week. I expect to get a breather tomorrow in Bangkok and will try to post some recent numbers from a conference held in Singapore this last week. The numbers are really quite startling.

I still labor over whether we will see the usual Summer correction. But right now things are pretty hot. I am more then gratified with my SEG, ZIGO, and MTIC stock. I should have followed my intuition on RDRT a bit earlier but I suspect that play is nearly over.

P.S. There were many analysts attending and presenting at the conference. They were also busy on the sidelines visiting local manufacturing sites. As reports get filed I am expecting more strong buying in Seagate and Maxtor next week though profit taking may balance some of this out. I think we will have another plus week.

Best,
Stitch
