Good information from the yahoo board: by: IamreallyWildcatF4F (65/M/Annapolis, MD) 3/10/00 5:10 pm Msg: 20559 of 20571 CREE's 3rd quarter earnings are due ...out on April 13th. The 4th quarter earnings are due to be announced on July 27th. CREE's FY ends on June 30th... CREE was able to keep up production throughout the period of heavy snow in Durham... They have been able to successfully shift the growers from the wafers being produced for Charles & Colvard (CTHR)... There are at least two indicator lights in each Sony Playstation 2... And probably 16 white CREE LEDs in each of the new Nokia handsets being introduced starting in Japan next week (I think)... In the past it has been mentioned that the epitaxy process was a bottleneck. I don't know how much progress has been made in this area. We should try to find out at the next conference call.... CREE will be at the "Key Conference on Compound Semiconductors in Communications" at Key West on March 13-14, 2000. CREE will also be at the CIBC Telecommunications Conference in NYC on June 12-14.... As we know, CREE has product initiatives underway in radio frequency and microwave transistors for the "wireless world" and in radar...plus blues laser diodes for optical storage applications ....and high power devices for power conditioning and switching. I guess that it is possible that we may hear some news coming out of the Key West meeting.....?? Good weekend everyone.... Wildcat
