[ Re Canadian Telco Changes ] Here are a couple of articles in the Ottawa Citizen about yesterday's CRTC decision. (You might have to try a couple of times to access the article - there seems to be minor problems with the site) ottawacitizen.com The big news is the telcos can move into cable and the cable companies and others can jump into the local telephone business. Unbundling of telco facilities, including local loops, allows them to enter the business quickly while their own facilities grow. Previously we have only had long distance competition.
