This development will allow Videoflicks.com Inc. to apply for listing on the NASD (National Association of Securities Dealers) Bulletin Board and could facilitate access to the U.S. capital markets if the application is accepted. Since the launch of Videoflicks.com in 1995 as the world's first on-line video store, the company sales have grown by more than 100 per cent each month, year-over-year, with little or no advertising. The site receives more than 20 million hits, four million page views and more than one million unique visitors monthly. Videoflicks focuses on customer service, knowledgeable staff, fast delivery and reasonable prices. The company's employees are primarily film/video experts, enhancing service to the on-line buyer. Videoflicks.com offers over 100,000 movie titles and has served customers in more than 60 countries. Although the company intends to apply to have its common shares quoted on the NASD Bulletin Board, there is no trading market at present in the United States for the common shares of the company and there is no guarantee that the company will be accepted to trade on the NASD market. As of Nov. 23, 1999, the last date the company had updated shareholder information, Videoflicks.com had 2,961 shareholders of record of which 2,149 are United States shareholders.
