Soooooo, we can't assume a thing here. What may seem standard to you or me just might have been overlooked or simply not done due to what I've stated above.

That's true. However, I think the problem is not so much what they've found, but how they figure out the relevance of what they have. If I'm hoping to find deer but I focus my search on the mall it doesn't matter how thoroughly I check it out because I won't find one there.

I know from Jim that he heard from people he hadn't heard from in years that the police had e-mailed them about him. Apparently the police must have gotten hold of his old e-mails or address book. I would think they did the same with Suzanne.

I'm talking about searching for say documents that she may have written that would have been dairy like entries, or entries where she was mad or upset at someone or about something and she wrote to vent.

Suzanne did keep a diary. Apparently that didn't have any leads in it either. I've never kept a diary and obviously I'm not a woman so I don't know what women normally write in them, but... I would assume they get pretty personal. I can buy the argument that Suzanne might have purposefully omitted the salacious stuff, but I doubt the stuff leading up to it. For example, Dear Diary: 1) "Today I met a man named [name]. He's married but he's still very cute," or 2) "Today Buddy told me he loved me. How sweet." In other words, even if Suzanne kept the latter part of the relationship "top secret", early on I doubt she'd have done so.

Also was she invovled in any chat rooms? Where? What type? Outside of email and written reports. What were her computer habits. What links did she frequent the most, etc. etc. etc

I don't know. When Yale gets back in session I'll have to ask these questions to her friends.
