Lightning Strikes the Internet

BURNSVILLE, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 1, 1997--

Lightning Bingo is On-line!

Global Games Corp. (OTC: NASDAQ: GLOW)(www.globalgames.com) today announced that its Lightning Bingo game is
fully operational and ready for play on the Internet. Players from around the world are invited to play the fast paced, exciting
Bingo-based game called Lightning Bingo.

Lightning Bingo is offered for full-scale play by Computadoras Interactivas, Global Games Corporation's first operating
licensee. Players and Internet users can check out the site at www.bingo.hn

Lightning Bingo draws from a pool of 30 balls with up to 50 players playing in any one game. Winners get three balls on a
card and can play up to five cards. There are special jackpots created by Lightning Bingo that give extra payoffs on five balls
across and by getting the three-ball winner in the first three calls.

Global Games continues to develop multi-player interactive games for the gaming industry. Its latest offering is a full session
bingo game that is now in Beta testing and is available for play at both the Global Games site (www.globalgames.com) and at
www.bingo.hn

Both bingo games were well received at last months' World Bingo Conference held in Las Vegas. Licensed bingo hall
operators from around the world expressed a great deal of interest in the interactive games that have been created by Global
Games.

Global Games is awarding licenses to bingo operators and offshore Internet service providers to offer the company's
multi-player, interactive games to the playing public. Gary Borglund, Transworld Online, who is working with Global to
award licenses, said: "We are pleased to have our first licensee up and operating with Global Games first bingo products:
Lightning Bingo and session Bingo. We are working with several potential operators both here in North America and in Asia.
The Asian market, where our contacts tell us we could easily attract 10's of thousands of players, particularly excites us. We
invite anyone interested in licenses to contact us."

Garry Jamieson, chairman and CEO of Global Games, when asked how he feels the gaming industry will accept electronic
games, said: "I know that the entire industry is intrigued by the potential of new electronic and computer-based games. Our
products are more interactive than current offerings and give the added dimension of combining players from different
geographical locations."

"We are now focused on delivering the next game, blackjack, which will be followed by other casino-style games throughout
this summer. We also plan to unveil the first of many non-gambling based interactive games this fall," Jamieson said.

The speed and accuracy of the games have impressed players that have commented on the first bingo games. Brad McDowell,
lead software developer of the games, said: "The games have been developed to run on the Internet or on private networks. We
use proprietary client server software modules that allow us the flexibility and speed to create fascinating, fast paced games,
while maintaining the highest level of security for player accounts."

Global Games is working closely with Digital Concepts, a Minneapolis based Internet design and consulting firm with a strong
background in traditional advertising and marketing skills. Gary Hansen, president of Digital Concepts, said: "For the last
several months Global Games has concentrated on the functions design aspects of their games. Now we are entering the next
design phase, a phase that will allow us to create the complete virtual atmosphere that we are looking for: fun, whimsical and
exciting: all with the chance to win money and prizes."

"Because Global has decided to continue to offer the games for free at its site, we are working on a design that will include
advertising slots for sponsors." said Hansen. "We plan to introduce this month a whole new Internet site that will offer for free
the chance to win prizes and cash rewards. This site will offer a variety of advertising spots to sponsors who will benefit from
tremendous site exposure," Hansen added.
