Hoops--You make a valid point; I shelled out $200 for a lifetime SI membership because I was sick of the crap on Yahoo (although even I'll admit that the posts of, shall we charitably identify them as the "two antagonists," have been at least written in intelligible English (that as charitable as I can be), while the same cannot be said for many of the TRULY idiotic posts on Yahoo--"so's yo Mama" stuff).
Perhaps it was because the two antagonists are obviously intelligent that some of us have engaged them, hoping to bring them into the fold. I no longer harbor that illusion, and thus have put one of them on "ignore"; I likely will do the same with the other one, as he also adds little to the thread other than a somewhat more elevated style of communication than his compatriot (he doesn't descend into using juvenile terms like "ECRP" or "E-Turd," for instance). The bottom line for him, though, is the same--he exists here simply to provoke, not to share, hence the likelihood of his being ignored as well. |
