<<You can't be serious. You call 40 to 50 red hot stocks a bull market while investors and traders have ignored most of the rest. This is not the first time in history that such a phenomenon has occurred, but this is what a traditional bear market looks like. Most stocks get pummeled while a handful of stars shine, often while hardly anyone talks about what the internal market has been doing.>>

There is,at the very least, a powerful change in process. While I won't discount the possibility of simply an odd rotation of sorts, something different has begun. While there are the names of the standard techs on the list, there are beginning to be some Very exciting small moves in smaller cap. issues here & there. There is the move from the DIJA consumer darlings into the bio-medtech. An oil issue or two here & the speculative diamond mining sector is beginning to sparkle. Hutch is right!(in a way) people are making money again in this market - without simply buying "the names". It comes from the fact "this market" is no longer 1/2 of the 30 DIJA, 6-12 stayed & proven tech names on the NASDAQ & the b2c internet nothings & or ISP's becoming more expensive with every passing day. Yes, there is RMBS, but noting how quickly TXN faltered, is their ship unsinkable?

I caught a few moments of Joe " the batman" Battagiula(sp) appearance on CNBC the other day and I was shocked. I heard the dreaded word "valuations" fall from his face.
