I'm playing around with my new camera and am not satisfied with the software. I was surfing Adobe's site and they have a Limited Edition version of Photoshop. Have you used it? Is so, will it allow you to import every picture from a CF card, as a thumbnail, all at once, so you have one page of thumbnails?
