Re: "So it is ssad to see AMD lose this point in the competition. I do not know how much of the SP increase was due to the xbox hype??? after all it is a year away from impacting anyones earnings."

Comment: No doubt there was a "hype" Xbox component in the recent runup based on additional AMD PR that would have gone along with the Xbox as evidenced by yesterdays $6 decline...But all of the recent runup, and much more, is wholly justified if Mr. Sanders, who has not erred wrt ATHY evolution to date, is accurate in his 13 million Y2000 Athy projection...Imho, the recent runup is just one of many that will occur in the near term that are solely earnings based...Mr. Sanders 13 million number implies the possibility of 2 million Athys in Q1 which again supports a Q1 eps exceeding $1.00 which in turn implies succeeding Q2, Q3 and Q4 earnings each greater than $1.00, with Q3 and Q4 probably exceeding $2.00 each quarter!...If one accepts these numbers as at all realistic (N.B. they are based on constant flash contribution at existing rate) then one can be comfortable buying AMD any where under $100 in Y2000!
