Dan, I interpret Lefervre's quote as referring to human nature, not to technological developments. In regards to Dave's post Message 13168219 It could be interpreted (although I do not think Dave was actually trying to say this) that the current bull market should be a reason to start trading with low or inadequate capital. If you are worried you don't have enough money, wait and save carefully. There will always be opportunity. P.S. If one wants to learn how to make money in a bear market, I think Lefevre's book might be a good place to start, IMHO. amazon.com
