Just thought I'd chime in...
I'm so damn overworked, I have a hard enough time just keeping up with the posts on SI.
I've held CMGI stock for well over a year now, never sold a single share and most have a $20 basis. The dips and spikes can be a little gut-wrenching but we all know this company is golden in the LT. I really dig the volatility now, makes options trading a blast, in both directions. The amazing thing is that CMGI, for the last couple of months, has been relatively priced (to it's "nav") at its lowest level that I've ever seen! Big-name houses are absolutely pounding the table on CMGI like I've never seen before. It's a goddam coiled spring. I bought more leaps on the dip Friday, I sold my ST calls Wed at a nice profit, but will buy some others next week. We've all been through this several times in '99, and I can't help but think that this is one of the best buying ops we've ever had. Looking back at my options trades on all stocks for the last 12 months, I had some winners and losers, but I never once lost on a CMGI option trade, short or long side. Now I'm not going to strain something pattin' myself on the back because I had other option trades kick my ass, but I got that 'ole CMGI options feelin' again. If I could enjoy the magnitude of success that I had last year, or even better, that Zen had last year with options, I'll be a retired youngster rather quickly.
Good Luck to all Longs!
