I did talk about how George Bush speaks. I did not talk about anything remotely describable as "speech etiquette." You will find that no one of your fellow Bush admirers will defend you on this, because they know that though many of Bush's language problems have been discussed, a deficiency in "etiquette" of any kind has not.
You call me a liar, but in a cleverish, poorly-disguised way: "I'm sorry you have to call yourself a liar." It is my impression that you are not a very nice person, but desire to pretend that you are.
"Etiquette," your word, not mine, is completely irrelevant to the discussion we are having here. If you still do not comprehend this, PM someone you trust for an explanation, I have done all I can.
The following, for example, can in no way be considered a failure in "etiquette," though to some it raises other types of concerns. This man believes he deserves to be in charge of the foreign policy of the most powerful nation on earth:
"Keep good relations with the Grecians." Quoted in the Economist, June 12, 1999 |
