Mark, i don't think your post pointing out the exit of pat provides much help to this thread. pat had good reasons for exiting, and it's certainly her right. she never had a negative comment for anyone on this thread and often had very insightful commentary.

she made a profit and i, for one, wish her well. i doubt there is a single individual investor who has bought at the bottom and sold at the top of more than a few of their holdings. i do this professionally and i can tell you the sweetest spot is the middle half of the gains.... they're typically the lowest risk gains. there's typically been confirmation of performance and the stock hasn't yet been overhyped.

further, her suspicions of management aren't without merit. while i believe noam has provided what has been promised for the last 9 months, prior to that period there were many questionable events. i won't go through them all, but i'd say he has answered enough of my questions to feel comfortable he'll continue to provide solid gains through the spinoffs and the continued r&d of mrvc and their divisions.

this being said, i would find it hard to fault ANYONE who decided to take some profits at this level. especially, with a pretty shakey market (to say the least).
