A couple of weeks ago I sent in a deposit to ETrade (for my account) and requested they send me some more deposit slips & envelopes.

Today in the mail I received: 8 letters sent at $0.55 postage each. In each envelope was one deposit slip and one envelope....

That is not efficient. I think E*Trade should provide (if they don't already), printable deposit slips off their website maybe even customized with a person's account number on it. I realize its a bit lazy but on the other hand sending me 8 letters and spending $4.40 on postage is a bit of a waste.

I wonder if they are doing this sort of waste on a grander scale. If so, they could cut losses just by making this process more efficient...

I've notified E*Trade and hope they take this matter seriously (to cut costs)
