Bill - Thanks for calling Merck about HPCheck, I was going to do that this week myself. Was really tempted to sell CMTR before the earnings & buy back after to generate a little income but did not want to chance missing the Astra/M press release on HPCheck as I think this will cause a significant jump in CMTR. Also, that product will provide decent revenue. Don't think Cholestrak will ever be a big seller, just small, steady revenue. I also check local stores for product. At giant Walmart, the Cholestrak kits move slow but sure. Same at Payless. At Thriftys & Walgreens they NEVER move. In fact my personal phamacy has the same 3 dusty kits that go back to the J&J changeover. The $10 rebate is a good idea and can only help. Don't know what kind of sales Colocare will produce but don't expect big numbers. By the way, have you seen any Colocare kits out East. I'm on the west coast and have not found one yet. I also have been quizing various pharmacist about the 2 HIV kits already out and have found that initially they sold briskly but dropped back to one here, one there sales, very slow movers. What that indicates for CMTR, don't know. I'm sure that initially any HIV announcement could rocket CMTR skyward, but in the long run, HPCheck is going to be the stable, big revenue product for Chemtrak.
The market is way up this past year making alot of people, alot of money while I'm sitting on CMTR. Hope they make that announcement soon!!
