I keep on reading about how shorts are keeping SOLV down?
Ask any knowledgable market professional, when there is alot of shorting in a stock, such as SOLV where there is almost nothing to borrow, and constant buy-ins...it is the shorts who HOLD UP the stock. ValuJet was a famous case in point. After the crash and the temp shutdown of the airline, there was an immense short squeeze that drove the stock up more than 75%.

The only thing that seems to hold up SOLV (besides BOB) is short squeeze and some alleged manipulation by MM's & Reg S & D investors..

Please explain to me how a short sale holds down a stock.

Thanks,
racer
