The incubators seem to be in the development stage themselves... If you think about it the incubators represent some of the best value on the web... The trick is to have the ones that will grow their hard assets quickly and by this I mean CASH! Nobody has been more successful at this than CMGI! They have over $2 Billion in cash. Talk about staying power and dominance! They had a couple of hundred million just about one year ago! They can continue their "viral" investment strategy without limit! A year from now I would estimate they could have $3 Billion to $5 Billion in cash with marketable securities approaching $30 Billion! Heck, they are trading at $34 Billion Market Cap today! EASY Double to TRIPLE one year out! Talk about dominance! And it is said we are only in the second inning of this revolution! What happens in 3, 4, 7 years when CMGI and its companies are PROFITABLE? We are talking about David Wetherall becoming the richest man on the planet by 2006! Count on it! Sorry to ramble!
