John OT It is important, though, because the physiological efficiency of lighting spectra (which you show is multidimensional) differs sharply from the physical efficiency of lighting fixtures. The immense savings in cost and waste energy possible (as rudedog showed in his example) not to mention improvement in human visual performance shows how important good technology is.
