Terrence, to ignore the role of the church in the framers of the constitution is to ignore the truth and see only what you want to see. Most of the framers of the constitution were deeply religios men. I recommend you read "The Book of virtue" by Willliam Bennett. In your utopian "Ayn" world you would lose the moral foundation on which a society depends. You list only the negative things religion brings to a society. What about all the positive things? You have done the same thing in reverse when people say to you "you are selfish and uncaring" Seeking only the extremes to your argument. Michael
