FWIW, I have over 330 semester hours of formal secondary education in the physical, biological, behavioral, and health sciences which includes a doctorate.

I have been a member of SI twice as long as Blue. I have never pretended to have any expertise in the area of trading stocks and have only rarely in the past posted about specific companies outside of my field of study.

Not once have I found it necessary to directly call another member an asshole, a jerk, shit, a moron, or imply that they had some type of sexual/psychological dysfunction. I have never found it necessary to refer to women as little girls or men as little boys. In addition, I have never found it necessary to make derogatory comments about another member's mother or father.

When I have found it necessary to confront another member or SI's management, it has always been on the open threads and never through harassing PMs. I have never found it necessary to asked SI administration to remove another member's post about me.

Speaking of medical facts about sociopathic behavior, as Blue likes to refer to them: a sociopath is by definition one who is lawless and manipulative. Their antisocial behavior is usually evidenced by a growing police record.

Perhaps a study into Paranoia would be more appropriate here.

Paranoid states can be seen as defenses against anxiety, aggression, hostility, masochism, inferiority, or depression. The paranoid style and the elements that contribute to it can be conceptualized as operating in the service of specific defenses.

Definitions are from Baker Encyclopedia of Psychology.
