This investor decided to stay long in Creative for all its worth. The company changed quite dramatically over the last 12 months. Yet this chat forum went quiet. Cemented my decision to add 50% to weighting again. Why ? It is now a play on - the Playstation II (via speaker configured for sensurround player feel) Small rev but big for image .. matters little about the DVD playback issue for now - MP3 devices : NOmad II and Jukebox. Latter range company estimates at least US$100m rev over 12 months. - Web companies: Company likely to increase investment in web companies. HIFI.com should list in 6 months. Already top 100 web site (according to PC Mag ranking). Profitable ! Should be US$1bn site within 12 months (or 12 hours ??) 100% owned pre-listing .. .i.e. err... US$12 to share price? - Broadband : via 100% owned Digicom (2nd largest retail modem distributor with broadband solution set, tieing up with major telcos due to need for standards ... expect listing after HIFI.com.. probably within 18 months) Also owns small stake in Centillium .. broadband chip tech company There is more I think.. oh well I'm now taking some profits to shift elsewhere given that this chat forum is getting a thread again. US$40 should be easy on a technical breakout. What about Valuations ? I've given up on that metric. It was great value at S$15-20 and people ignored it. It'll be "bad" value when people fall in love with it. Good luck. There's a lot more on the table for those interested in riding the rally.
