chalu, my only request on this matter is, if they can't teach creation, then don't let them teach evolution, or the "big bang" theory. Neither of these have been proven any more than the creation concept. All I ask is fair treatment for Christians, which in many cases, is not offered. BTW, I thing that the story of the creation is the same for Christians, Jews, and Moslems, since all three believe in the same God, and all profess to be descendents of Abraham. I know that the Hindus have a far different idea, as do other cultures. If morality would be taught in the home, that should solve many of the problems but, since so many homes have no morality within them, what is the answer?
My only answer would amount to an opinion based on my Faith but, since almost everyone knows what that is, there is no need of rehashing it right now. ~H~ |
