I agree completely, I'd like to see EMC make a switched fabric environment available to the 3K Windows NT server market. As far as the SAN vs NAS market is concerned I go back to my argument about software. NAS is a single unit view of storage. SAN is an enterprise view of storage (from a software perspective). NAS is a great 'point solution'. I need 30 gigabytes for a workgroup in walla walla. SANS and the global software associated are needed for an enterprise view of dozens or hundreds of terabytes. I believe EMC will continue to grow the software (and high margin) dollars. Long on EMC. BobG...
