Dear Ausdauer: Please, advance any suggestion to account for the current price surge that is not based on speculators buying SEG due to dream-like rumors involving VRTS!

Your comment on SNDK is well taken although I personally do not think one can, at this point, give one stock in SEG's "portfolio" more credit than others.

I have not read anyone say this before, but it looks, to me, as if SEG is transforming itself into some hybrid between a pure tech-play mutual fund and CMGI incubator. I'm tongue-in-cheek when I say this, am *not* trying--or wanting-- to start a rumor, but I'm starting to think maybe SEG should sell it's disk drive business and use the cash to buy shares of some additional companies.

Regards,

Lynn
