You can delete these directory services without causing yourself or your system grief.

When you're in Outlook Express and click on 'Find People', or click Start/Find/People the default place to look is your address book. If you click the little down arrow beside the 'Look In' box, you'll choose from among these directory services.

I've used them to get e-mail addresses since they work much like a telephone book. Again, I don't use them much, but since they take so little room, I keep them around. As far as I know, they do nothing behind your back: They have never caused me any trouble.

Cheers, PW.
