I have been telling friends for 3-4 months to expect bigtime competition between old economy and new economy for special skilled people

not just that, but competition between insightful forward thinking tech firms and stodgy tech firms

and competition between growing tech firms and nongrowing tech firms

I see old economy's technically skilled people getting raided by growing tech firms... e.g. InfoSystems people at Campbells Soup, forecasting phenoms from Staples, buying agents from BestBuy... anyone with strong technical skills can probably do better in a techrelated company

SOME AWESOME COMPETITION UPCOMING
gonna stretch our economy to the limits
I say: open the borders, and let in strong skilled people from Lithuania, Hungary, Italy, England, India, Korea, Australia

not to mention all those highly skilled machete sharpeners in Haiti
they can easily be retrained to cut semiconductor wafers into final form before surface mounting !!!
