Hey all- I was just wading through my taxes and discovered something interesting. The last three spinoffs (American Software, International Thoughts, and Neistrat) have shown up in my 1099-Div saying I received a dividend that I now have to pay taxes on! The value sums to 5 cents/share (or .5cent/share of the original BNEZ). Anybody else see this? Its rather annoying to have to pay income taxes on BNEZ, but the amount is small enough its not worth the effort to figure out how to fight. BTW: anybody got a clue whats up with BNEZ these days?
