"when ever i click to send an e-mail to a web-site i am using i get harassed with cookies asking to me to install MSFT2000 WORD"

first thing comes to mind is why don't you give us the url and we'll see what happens when we visit the site?

next thing i thought of is that perhaps your browser is not configured to accept cookies. sounds like that's why you are being bombarded with cookies messages.

i'm not aware of how or where one enables cookie settings in ie5.0, other than to click on tools, internet options, advanced and restore defaults. but i'm not sure if that will accomplish what you want.

:)
