REGARDING AFTER A BIG CRASH
Will there still be trading opportunities in such a market? Of course there will be, just not as many, not as easy to take advantage of, and with less profit potential.

John,

After the crash of '87 I still remember the talk on how
everything had changed and the market was no longer for the little guy. About the evils of program trading etc, etc. Very similar to what you are saying. It was not all that long after, that opportunities came that led us to where we are now. From most forms of destruction and chaos there always seems to come a newer fertile environment for life and opportunities on a scale bigger than before. This includes the downside as well as the upside. Why would the next crash change that. I do agree that the capitalized pros will have the advantage immediately after, but it will ultimately lead right back to where we are now.
