NG, Well, I am sure the linux men will think of this and plans will be afoot. There is no real reason it could not be done. A simple mobo, CPU, RAM, Chipset and assorted ports and no place to plug in cards, but an external bus connector be the cheapest possible box. What is needed is a 'shadow project' to make a box that runs games etc in general a legal clone of the xbox, based on the athlon(or via too?) Will the distributed linux group be able to make a stripped OS for such a game box? I see no reason why not.Since all the parts will be x86 standards the biggest problem will be getting a video chip. Well, gather the rejected suitors and see what they come up with, they may be political rejects and not tech rejects? Bill
