What if Roosevelt had heeded the warning that the Japanese were going to bomb Pearl Harbor or Hitler hadn't been sleeping and the orders to move troops to defend against the D-Day invasion hadn't been delayed? What if the Inca's hadn't been afraid of horses or Columbus had made a wrong turn? What if the Supreme Court had ruled that the Emancipation Proclamation had no legal grounds (which it didn't)?
