I made no issue whatever of the "sort of social policy Olasky supports."

What concerns me about his being the President's chosen ethics advisor is that he believes in the inerrancy of the Bible. And I cited his advice as regards the writing of Christian journalists. I will paste it again if you have forgotten it. It makes one think that it is not beyond the pale to assume he might provide similarly literal Biblical advice in other areas.

You will be right if you say that Biblically inerrant advice has not yet been tried on Presidents, so we have no way of knowing what the outcome of it might be. I am not really worried. I am more looking forward to any speech W might make explaining a particular move he's made on this basis.

To reiterate: You will note that I have never said that Olasky is not a bright and nice man, or that I wouldn't like him as a neighbor.
