Yes ... so many parallels with speculation on mineral exploration, an important one being that Most Projects Fail. Enough winners emerge to justify the risk/reward, hopefully. Overall, the share price charts sure look a lot the same. And of course as nimble traders we're all going to bail out of the losers in time. Heh heh. Found this on the spirit - fortune.com On brokers - no i don't know much outside of those i deal with, and with them it costs me more to trade US but at least TDW lets you keep a US$ account so you don't get hosed on exchange on every trade ... i stopped trading US in an rrsp with a full-service house because of the exchange, when you add up the 2-3% roundtrip on top of outrageous commissions and the criminal spreads on Nasdaq, you need a double on your pick to break even, lol Yes, crossing borders is hard, but even within this country just trying to get hold of a trader to work with your own damn money is like pulling teeth ... Green Line's performance is inexcusable, especially considering they have a big push on to sign up even more newbie clients to really plug up the system.
