We have various laws which support custom precisely because there is no very good reason to give offense. In the first instance, going nude would be tantamount to playing one's boom box at an obnoxious decibel level, in terms of the imposition on the consciousness of others. In addition, there is the chance of inordinate sexual provocation, which is no small matter. (It is less a matter of provoking advances than of forcing sexual feelings on those not seeking them). Finally, there are many situations where it could reasonably be considered unsanitary or unsafe, especially in urban areas, and an extension of "no shoes, no shirt, no service"........
