IFX Infineon prices IPO at $33.95 Mar 12 FRANKFURT -- Infineon Technologies AG, the Siemens semiconducter spinoff, said Sunday that shares in its initial public offering were priced at $33.95 (35 euros) each-- the top end of the expected range. Analysts expect the shares of the Siemens spinoff to shoot up as high as $97 when they begin trading Monday in Frankfurt and New York. The issue, the biggest in years in Germany, was 33 times oversubscribed, the company said. The issue price will give Infineon a market capitalization of $21.3 billion. About 80 percent of the company's 26,000 workers with a right to purchase shares exercised that right. Retail investors got 40 percent of the 174 million shares offered while institutional investors took 60 percent.
