Thanks pg, as you know, I do play the osx stocks once in awhile,,last were GW and GLBL(this ones been looking very good)...For now though,,I'm staying out of oil related stocks...still don't like the fact that their movement is basically control by politics and OPEC's purse strings..company performance is secondary,IMO...Should be an interesting day today,,for safety's sake,I have placed stops on my intial NYSE's entries...IP reports Weds.,,I think thier earnings will be strong,,pulp, fibre, oil prices all up,,lumber a bit flat...We'll see.. Spoke with a family friend last night,,he does the buying for a local machine shop here(they employ around 150),,stainless steel has risen in price quite a bit..Made a quick trade on Bethlehem Steel-BS on Friday(see the alert put out on their earnings),,but think I will be eyeing it,,and begin researching the companies that concentrate mainly on stainless...Commodities/basic material prices are rising,,no question in my mind...and that cost is being passed along-see P&G and Dials recent warnings a good read from Nov. -scroll to the top manufacturing.net Also going to watch Janus funds closely--these are a great gauge of the Nas strength(which is weakening,IMO)..saw a blurp,,50% of all money flowing to funds, is going to Janus Capitol...interesting,,what happens if they begin to underperform,,,trust me,,there aren't to many places to hide from tech, in the Janus family of funds |
