Larry - Thanks for the Lehman Article.

An unsuspecting source of "upside" potential exists for Intel this quarter.

AMD has announced their K6 with much fanfare (old news).

BUT - their distributors do not have the K6 in stock at least in the 200 MHz or greater speed.

Distributors are quoting 4 to 13 week lead times for the K6.

The potential UPSIDE for Intel is that AMD customers who committed to AMD's K6 for additional, "low cost" x86 MMX devices, may have to resort to purchasing Intel's "higher priced" Pentium MMX devices.

The one caveat is Intel's limited production capacity - can they increase their production enough to capitalize on AMD's production "shortfall" of K6 devices?

We will know in July!

Paul
