There are several places in the world one must go if one is serious in finding supergiant gold deposits. South Africa, Western South America, Central Asia, Papau NG-Indonesia and Nevada are places one must seriously consider. There are many world-class deposits outside of these areas, but the ones mentioned have a disproportionate abundance of very very large gold deposits.

The economic viability of these deposits depend on the political and social will of the people. Certainly, capital flows in the past 5 years are different than what they were prior to that, and I suspect that it will change again in the next 5 years. Unfortunately, few if any mines can be found, developed, and extracted in any given 5 year period. Mines, particularly the world-class ones take 5 to 10 years to find and develop, and produce for decades. Companys must have this time-line in mind.

Currently, TDC will focus on Canada, but will consider other opportunities as they arise.
