Diamond Fields/Execs -2: Luderitz Is In Namibia >T.DFI
VANCOUVER (Dow Jones)--Diamond Fields International Ltd. (T.DFI) said it has
named Francis J. Waldron as chairman and chief executive.
In a press release, the company said it has also named Mark Collins chief
operating officer.
Diamond Fields said Waldron, who replaces Richard H.T. Garnett, is
"currently associated" with MIL Investments, a company owned by Jean-Raymond
Boulle, the largest shareholder of Diamond Fields, and was a senior vice
president at the Mony Group.
Diamond Fields said Collins is an employee of MIL Investments, and
previously was a senior executive at America Mineral Fields.
Diamond Fields said it will advance its Luderitz Diamond Project in Namibia
to the feasibility stage. It said it is focusing on sea diamond concessions
near Luderitz.
Diamond Fields is a diamond producer.
