Carpe, read posts # 21888, 21896 and 21902 here. These give my perspective on the Nasdaq and high fliers moving forward. . . .I am mostly out of tech. . .and have been since those posts. . . remember how I kept saying that I wanted to be FIRST out when the tech stocks began selling off, not last? That is what I was talking about. As for earnings plays. . .yes, certain tech stocks will get earnings plays. . .but as I said last week. . . last year, I was unable to capitalize on them, due to not selling early enough. . . many of the earnings plays last April sold off several days before the earnings were released. . .nearly all sold down after earnings. . .even if earnings were extremely positive. . .and behind the extremely narrow play of earnings, the rest of the market quietly sold off. . . I don't want to be a part of that this year. . . After reviewing last year's performance. . .we got out at a great time on April 15, but many stocks had peaked on April 1. This year, I believe many of our favorites have peaked already and that Spring is arriving just a few weeks early. Rande Is
