OK, OK, OK... I had a similar argument with Ed not too long ago. I think that you both are right, in your own respects. Depending on our individual perspectives, each person on this thread probably agrees with one of you more than the other.
Performance is important to a "put up or shut up" argument, but this is an argument that will not be resolved. This is from personal experience.
I know that you did not start this negative thread of discussion, but you can end it. The quality of your posting is what's most important to your credibility, and I enjoy reading your (and Ed's) posts regarding investment ideas and strategies.
However, if this keeps going, it'll just get ugly. Been there, done that, and it's just not worth it.
