Foolish talk at best. There is no one in their right mind that should think this might happen.

Now Jaz as a hard drive upgrade makes a lot of sense. For example, keep your 2 gig hard drive intact as your application drive. Then buy a new internal Jaz drive and upgrade your capacity with Disks.

IMO - No way will Iomega release a 2.x Jaz drive next week. Why should they? They've effectively cut SyJet off at the knees with the price movement and their overall penetration into the retail market. Their is no strategic reason to release a new Jaz drive at this point.
