XACCT and TeleKnowledge Partner to Offer Flexible Billing and Customer Care Solution for Value-Added IP Services

Under the terms of the agreement, XACCT and TeleKnowledge will integrate the XACCTusage(tm) platform with TeleKnowledge's Total-e(tm) value-based billing solution, allowing broadband service and content providers to deliver advanced billing and customer care solutions.
As value-added services such as Virtual Private Networking, IP fax, IP telephony, and streaming multimedia emerge on the Internet, broadband providers are realizing that they must go beyond a flat-rate pricing model to design and execute innovative pricing models for services based on any combination of consumer-driven value metrics. The integration of XACCTusage and TeleKnowledge's Total-e solution enables customers to create flexible, usage and value-based billing models for IP-based voice, video, and data services, quickly.

Business Infrastructure for Next-Generation Networks
XACCT's flagship product, XACCTusage, provides a single point of interface between the IP network infrastructure and the customer care and billing applications for usage data collection as well as automated service provisioning.
