It scares me that folks are hinting GTE will announce contracts. Mr. Kula has made it patently clear they won't. They'll be talking about ADSL plans for deployment, but not contracts. I've been assured the press conference will be positive for Amati. That's enough.

As far as any other contract announcements, I know of nothing definite, only the possibility Siemens will flesh out the one already announced. Even then, I'm not holding my breath.

Even so, I'm looking for some positive responses from the show.

Hey, it just occured to me. Does anyone know if MCI will have a demonstration? They used Amati's equipment for Iowa and then afterwards at their Network Workshop in Boston, so there's a chance they would.

Think I'll make some calls. :)
