I wonder if these new margin requirements are just a Datek phonomina or if other brokerages are restricting margin as well. If so this could have contributed to todays selling. Is it possible that Greenspan has found a way to let a little air out of the naz? Na, the naz is high mainly due to institutional buying - right?
