I bet Datek is receiving hundreds, if not thousands, emails about that.

I called today, the pal over there told me, there is no margin call for me. It seems to me that Datek is using last week's margin status to calculate your margin.

I think that "NM" is just a way to prevent people from buying more highly volatile stocks. But if you are already in, Datek will use the old way to calculate the margin. This is purely IMHO.
