I'd think that a portal, any portal would run into storage boundaries....when converting paper to digital.

ie...the fax was suppose to do away with paper, and so was the computer. You and I didn't get less, we just got more detail...as we commanded our machines to spit more and more detail.

I stick with MOBI here....they are not building a web digital filing system......but a local digital filing system for web sent digital transmitions.

Don't know if it works, buts that's the way I prefer it, besides they are the only one doing it. INSI has competition here...

I think Consumers and Business are also going to want local access to records in an instant, backup they can feel comfortable with.

I see the web as being a great interactional medium, I just don't see it as being a storage medium when it comes to personal data archives.

Backup maybe, but NOT archives.

Sorry, I see the web function to store personal/business data in public even under security as stupid.

WHY? When hard drives and storage is so cheap...Bandwidth?

Get Real.....

I...cut back heavy on this one based on my preferences and thoughts.
