big guy: The last split for this stock was on 3/30/98 when it split 1 for 10. In my experience reverse splits have only portended disaster. I seem to recall that when it split in '98 approval was given to the board of directors to split as much as 1 for 20, but I may be remembering another dog I owned at the time.

This stock went from above $90 in early 1993 to less than $.50 in March 1998 when it split 1 for 10 which meant every 100 shares became 10. Now on a pre-split basis it would be about 21 cents a share. A real "barn-burner!"

After having shown some modest gains recently I really do not understand why they want to butcher it again with another reverse split. A 2 for 1 split would reduce the share price to $1.25 instead of $2.50. What gain is there in that? Mysterious isn't it?

Check their latest 10-K which released today at:

They sold the rest of the only money maker they had, "Softworks", last December. Now they seem to have nothing but red ink. Doesn't look pretty.
