I disagree that sony's decline is purely a technology matter. How is this selloff in SNE any different than what goes with any buy on the hype, sell on the news item? PS2 is out; what other momentum is there for the stock to trade up on? It's not like sega and nintendo are gonna roll over and play dead. Now Microsoft wants to be a player.
Further compounding the issue are the Japanese locking in profits, foreign investors getting spooked about the recession talk.
Glitch or no glitch SNE would've gone down like the rest of the Japanese tech stocks.
